The AXIS series AX8 is an ultra-compact full range enclosure with multiple applications within audio visual, church, live sound or theatre. Options include use as a stage monitor with 35° or 85° face angles, or alternatively the enclosure can be pole or truss mounted in combination with the optional theatrical yoke and Kwik Lok kit. The AX8 yoke can be fitted to the cabinet in seconds without tools. A 35 mm spigot sits within the Kwik Lok top hat fixture and is locked in place with a single Kwik Lok pin. Alternatively for cabinets with a standard top hat mount the yoke can be secured with two M6 fixtures into existing top hat mounting points. The cabinet houses an 8″ mid bass unit that shares a common neodymium magnet structure with a 1″ exit coaxially mounted HF compression driver. The HF offers 100° conical dispersion. The cabinet has a low insertion pad free passive network; working in hybrid mode with a system amplifier from the eFlex range.

The enclosure is manufactured from 15 mm birch plywood and coated in a heavy duty polyurea finish. The cabinet front has a protective steel grill coated in a water resistant powder coat finish which has an acoustically transparent filter medium bonded to its back surface.
