Winchester based Corporate AV specialist LTN Productions have invested in an Inspired Audio Optima 5 array system. Looking to expand their audio offering above distributed systems a compact array was on the wish list for the company. After initial discussions with JP Cavaco from the LMC London office, Dominic Blinston and Jon Wiles from LTN headed north to Inspired's Nottingham base for a full product run through from which Optima 5 emerged as the perfect system for their proposed applications.

Real world demonstrations followed with two very diverse events. Firstly Inspired's system engineer Andi Churchill working on a Nissan corporate event at the NEC with the company. Pairs of Optima 5 cabinets were combined with discreetly placed Optima B210 in bass support. Events then moved from the NEC into theatre land with flown arrays of four Optima 5 again being combined with Optima B210 for a production at the Lighthouse on Poole Harbour. The sale was confirmed with JP from LMC, the initial investment being eight Optima 5, a pair of Optima B210 and a pair of eFlex Q5 units. Pleasingly the gear has not been littering the warehouse since the investment!

Commenting Inspired's Chris Scott said,

‘Two very different events showed the adaptability of the system to Dominic and Jon and it was a pleasure working with the guys. We have enjoyed a continued dialogue since they took delivery of the system as they look to add Wi-Fi control and consider bass options that will let them move into more live work as well as the corporate side that the system was originally purchased for. So I feel that I am safe in saying that Optima 5 is working for LTN and I guess that is exactly what speakers should be doing, working!’
