The Woodlands Restaurant set high in the mountains above Beirut was the venue for an open day hosted by Beirut based Transorient Services.
Alongside presentations from fellow UK Company Digico featuring an SD9, Radial DI boxes from Canada, K-Array from Italy and fellow Italian's Powersoft, Inspired used the day to introduce the Optima 8 Array system to the Lebanese Market.
A schooling ring normally reserved for the local riding school, gave suitable space for two drops of eight Optima 8 to be flown from a truss, with six SB218 and six B215 in ground stacked support. The shaded seating of the outside venue fifty meters from the array enabled the invited audience to sample both the excellent mezze lunch and Optima's crystal clear vocal projection, while shading from the 30 degree heat of the midday sun.
Inspired Chris Scott commented,
'Optima 8 builds on previous products I have designed. Especially the HF projection where new waveguides mounted on a new topology of horn give a night and day improvement, a leap not a step forward! Lebanon has always been a good territory for doing business so it was well worth that four o'clock Monday alarm call to get out here and show all what Inspired and Optima is about!'
