There will be no dancing girls, fireworks or cheap champagne, but quietly in the bowels of Hall 8, a new English premium pro-audio brand will be introducing its first products onto the world stage.
Founded in January 2011, by experienced loudspeaker designer Chris Scott, the company's aims are simply to deliver, compact, lightweight, premium quality integrated loudspeaker systems, as close to plug and play as the laws of physics will allow. Products fit for the fast moving, not enough time, smart phone world in which we live.
Central to achieving this is the company's eFlex Q5 system amplifier, a four channel unit with on board DSP, full networking functionality, which can be configured to manage any combination of Inspired products. Inspired have also committed heavily to the latest coaxial technology and will be using neodymium magnet structures throughout, shunning the current neo cost crisis in the tongue in cheek belief that quality should be reassuringly expensive!
So joining the eFlex Q5 on the Frankfurt stand (Hall 8, G15) will be sample products from the mFlex range, modular and flexible cabinets as happy on a pole as clustered in an array, Axis stage monitoring with a flexible twist and Optima array. Within the Optima range the company will be showing the compact Optima 8 array box, along with the ultra-compact Optima 5 and associated bass and sub cabinets. Last but not least those Q5 system amps will be housed in the rather swish Flex Rack; with its slide in doors there isn't a flightcase lid to lose in sight! Other features of the Flex Rack include WIFI connection for software control and the option of a 'Dante' protocol digital input.
So with twelve months intensive R&D behind us, Inspired Audio want to invite you to a view of the future, Hall 8, Stand G15, Pro Light & Sound 2012. Not convinced the future's orange, but it is certainly going to be Inspired!
